For the man (Reza) who was not allowed to stay . I had to make art when you got that 'no'.

The technique of this piece is difficult to categorize because I started out with a certain plan, and then continued with the emotion of what felt right. I would consider this a form of 'thread-painting' quilting because the image is created by sewing through different layers of fabric. and instead of drawing out my emotions in a painting, I sewed my emotions out in this piece. It was hugely calming

(The word in red I hope to be the Persian word for 'love', the native language of 'my' man.)
